CAMERA TECHNIQUES
Field Of View

The field of view is the angle described by a cone with the vertex at the camera's position. It is determined by the cameras focal length, the shorter the focal the wider the field of view.

Film Photography

Film Photography requires a strip of film for the photos to be taken and no battery is needed as the camera can be worked by hand. There are only a certain amount of photos you can take as a Film strip is only so long. After you have taken your photos you need to develop them in a dark room.

Box Brownie

A box brownie camera is a small box which is held at the waist for taking photos as there isn't a way to look through the lens with your eye up close so the camera has to be held at the waist and you look through the mirror reflections to see what you are taking a photo of. The camera can be held either landscape or portrait. These cameras also require film strips.

DSLR

DSLR cameras are more modern day cameras that do not require a film to work, they have different settings so the camera can adapt to almost anything you wish to take a photo of. They all have built in flashes and have screens showing you the images you have taken.
